A message from Maurice Brenner

Pickering is a vibrant community with great potential and a great place to live. Our strength is our diversity of many backgrounds from all walks of life.

As our communities grow and change, we are facing new challenges: increasing gridlock, higher costs of living, a lack of affordable housing options for first time home buyers and an increasing aging population. We need more good-paying jobs coupled with a balanced approach to growth and development that will focus on reducing the residential tax burden by increasing non-residential growth through new business opportunities and supporting existing Local Businesses as well as protecting the environment for future generations.

As a strong and engaged community working together with the  Region of Durham, the City of Pickering, and both Regional and City Council, with your continued support we can and will make a difference.
